Transport Ships are an advanced industrial-class ships which have better defenses than the standard industrial ship. They come in two different classes: Deep Space Transports and Blockade Runners.
Deep Space Transports[]
Deep Space Transports are equipped with heavier defenses in order to withstand the danger of deep space. They have extra resistances against certain damage types and bonuses to armor repairers or shield boosters.

Blockade Runners[]
Blockade Runners work on the principle of "Run away to haul another day." By sacrificing some cargo space, they are able to reach high speeds and they can fit covert ops cloaking devices.
