Hull

The hull or structure of a ship gives each ship its distinctive shape and protects the occupants from the emptiness of space. The hull is protected by both the shield and the armor of the ship. Once both of those are gone, the hull will start taking damage. The hull usually can take far less damage than either the shield or the armor.
